It worked just perfectly for me, the value one gets for the price is very good. The major flaw with it is that if you're like me and your lighter socket is broken, you have to break your legs searching for the correct kind of batteries (something I've yet to do).

This works better then the Belkin I had purchased a few years ago. You will not be able to listen to your music SUPER loud but it works well enough for me, I use it mostly to listen to audio books and those don't need to be blasting. My lighter in my car doesn't work anymore though, I am not sure if that is a defect of the car or the transmitter though. We use this to transmit both our Sansa Clip player (a terrific player) and our Ipod Nano to our car stereo. It works perfectly every time and I can even plug my cell phone charger into the front of it -- which is good because I only have one outlet (lighter) in my car. We never have any problem with the sound or reception -- you do have to turn the volume on your music player up to full-blast - which you have to remember next time you put on headphones or you could blow out your ears.
