Editorial Review:Product Description:Overlord is an Xbox 360 exclusive that takes role-playing and action conventions and flips them on their head. You're exploring the legendary Overlord's Dark Tower when you discover you've inherited the legacy of the evil, long-dead Overlord. As you emerge near-death, you decide to rise as the new Overlord -- and you'll have to decide how evil you're willing to get. Played out with plenty of black humour and dark irony, the game will immerse players in twisted parodies of classic fantasy scenarios and characters.

I think this game has alot of potential, and if it wasn't for all the glitches,I'd give this game a 5.
Three hours into the game, the camera angle becomes stuck to a bird's eye point of view and will not allow me to change it back.I can push the L button and use the thumbstick to move the camera back, but as soon as I let go,the camera swoops back up in the sky making the game awkward and ultimatly unplayable.
The game WILL NOT allow me to give the food back to the peasents. My ...

The game is good. It has alot of customizable elements that make you get into the mode of "just one more level" that plagues all serious gamers.
What makes is fun is that you can loot and pillage with an army of underlings until your heart's content. You can build and upgrade your castle and own effects as you gain certain levels, equipment, and most importantly...gold.
The problem is that 90% of the upgrades to your castle do nothing. They're just asthetic value. And until ...

This game is quite a bit of fun considering it had little to no hype. That being said, I couldn't rate it very high without lying to myself about parts of the game clearly take from others. The game play is taken right out of Pikmin, but I personally find it to be more enjoyable than Pikmin, just as other will like Pikmin more than this. In my opinion the controls are more streamlined and easier to use than those from Pikmin, making the game a whole lot more enjoyable. As for the visuals and Audio, it ...

This game was a lot of fun to play, it is a little deceptive at first because its cartoon style makes it appear juvenile, but the content and gameplay is probably more suited for teen and older.
The games puzzles aren't so hard that they distract from the gameplay, but they can be tedious and annoying. The gameplay is pretty fun, the combat style is a little different from most games of the genre, which keeps it interesting for a while.
Overall, its a fun game, but it can be ...

Really fun game and I liked the fact that even though your an evil overlord they still let you choose to be good a lot. I would have to say it has an average replay value but they get kudos for just how fun and humorous it is.
