I hope Apple has a response to the Wind. I think a cross between an iPod Touch and a MacBook Air, running OS X of course, would be far better than any UMPC on the market.
That's an interesting point you make about the Asus Eee PC 1000H having a scratch resistant surface, I don't see many people mentioning that.
